The 3rd Kannada International Music Awards’ was presented by Lokesh and team in a grand style at Dr Ambedkar Bhavan in Bengaluru on Sunday night.

Out of 300 nominations 29 awards were declared.10 were through voting, 15 via non-voting and four jury selections were from the participants of 16 countries this time stated Lokesh VK.

For cinema field 8, Doordarshan music 2, theatre music 3, light music 3, devotional music 2, short films 1, music band 1, sound mixing 1, lifetime achievement award to Dr Shyamala Bhave, Shahanai Pandit S Ballesh, International award for Vidwan TAS Mani, Vidushi RA Ramamani, special award to Rickey Kej were presented at a gala event.

Guru Team drums, ACDC troupe dance were part of the cultural event at KIMA awards.
